Short Biography

Angela Mathew holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. Before starting her PhD, she gained experience in molecular cloning, protein expression, purification, and assay development while working on a project at Vellore Institute of Technology focused on developing colorimetric assays for tuberculosis drug screening. She also worked as a Senior Project Manager in a custom antibody production company, where she led projects involving monoclonal and polyclonal antibody production and labeling. Her current PhD research focuses on optimizing protein synthesis using synchronized Pichia pastoris yeast cells.
